COLD SPRING – The Cold Spring Rockies scored five runs in the fifth inning en route to defeating Bird Island in Region 11C play.

David Jonas was 2-for-4 with a triple. Ryan Bell and Kevin Wenner each added doubles. Chris Lardy pitched all nine innings and allowed six hits to pick up the win.

The Rockies face Raymond in a winner’s bracket game at 5 p.m. today in Cold Spring. Watkins faces Milroy in a winner’s bracket game at 2:30 p.m. Eden Valley faces Bird Island in an elimination game at noon.
