Amateur baseball roundup: Fruth, Laudenbach homer in win

COLD SPRING — The St. Augusta Gussies rocked the Cold Spring Rockies 8-4 in a Central Valley League game on Friday night.

Nate Laudenbach led the way for St. Augusta by going 2-for-4 with a home run.

Aaron Fruth added a two-run homer for the Gussies and Marcus Lommel had a double and a triple.

Travis Laudenbach earned the win.

Dylan Tebrake was 4-for-4 with a double for the Rockies (6-5 CVL, 11-8 overall).

Trevor Lardy took the loss.
