COLD SPRING — Ryan Bell’s sacrifice fly scored Cole Field with the eventual winning run in the eighth inning as the Cold Spring Rockies defeated Kimball 2-1 Tuesday night.
Field led the Rockies (4-4 Central Valley League, 9-7 overall) by going 2-for-2 with a double.
Jordan Neu tossed a complete game to earn the win.
Adam Beyer hit a solo home run to tie the game 1-1 for Kimball.
Ben Johnson struck out seven through seven innings to take the loss.
