ST. MARTIN – A four-run fifth inning from Cold Spring broke the game wide open and helped the Rockies top Avon.

Reece Hemmesch, Jake Hennen and Marshall Wirtzfeld all had hits in the inning for Cold Spring, which had four hits in the game.

Avon scored both runs in the sixth inning, but it wasn't enough to catch the Rockies. Cody Stich and Adam Harlander recorded the only hits for the Lakers.
