COLD SPRING – Marshal Wirtzfeld and Reece Hemmesch each had three hits as Cold Spring outlasted Eden Valley in a Central Valley League playoff game.

Josh Porwoll got the pitching win for the Rockies and Gary Peters went 6-for-6 to lead Eden Valley.

The Hawks play Raymond at 4 p.m. Saturday in Watkins in a play-in/elimination game for a berth in the Region 11C.

The Rockies play Watkins for the CVL South title at a time and location to be determined.
