Matt Dingmann supplied the game-winning hit and dominated on the mound for Kimball in its 1-0 Central Valley League win over the Cold Spring Rockies on Saturday afternoon.
Dingmann drove in Adam Theis with a single in the top of the ninth for the Express. He threw a complete-game shutout while giving up two hits and striking out four.
Josh Porwoll was the hard-luck loser after throwing a complete game for the Rockies (5-1). He struck out three and gave up four hits.
Theis went 2-for-4 with a double for the Express. Ryan Bell and Porwoll each had a hit for the Rockies.
The Rockies are host to Watkins at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
